Man last nights rain was crazy. The rain was the hardest i think i have ever seen it before. We all thought that we were going to lose the power at some point yesterday, but thank goodness that never happened.

Today we had a speaker from san diego. He works for an organization called om ships international. http://www.omships.org/ check it out if you have time. The stories he told us were awesome to hear. He has lived in a few different countries and just has a passion to serve God.
Today, he used a few verses to get his point across, but the one that really stood out to me was Romans 10:13-15. it was talking about people need to call on the Lord to be saved. But how we they hear about Him if no one is out there preaching about Him. It was just really encouraging to hear. I don't think i want to be a missionary, but i strongly feel that there are people who don't get a real chance to hear the Word. Yes Jesus is all over the United States, but i don't think people really have heard what he is all about. I have heard time and time again that we need to learn the culture we are trying to reach, but i don't think many of the Christians in the U.S. really understand the people they are talking to.
Well, that's just my thoughts for today.
