Last Friday 11/20 Rory Kyle and I went to San Diego after class to explore and to find a place to enjoy a steak. We hitched a ride with Ryan, who was dropping the speaker off at the sd airport. We were dropped off down town, where we then walked to my friend Addie’s work. I posted on face book that I was going to be in sandiego, so my friend Rachel asked if I could hang out. She drove down and met us downtown. We walked through parts of Balboa Park and went to Black Angus for a steak. After dinner, we met up with Addie again and went to a frozen yogurt place. Later we watched a movie before Addie drove us back to the border.
Rory’s mom came down late Friday so a bunch of us met up in sandiego and had breakfast at the hash house agogo. The food was really good but the cool part was the portion sizes, like one pancake 2 feet in diameter.
After breakfast a few of us went to Balboa Park to play Frisbee golf, it was my first time and a lot of fun. My friend Justin visited while I was in SD. He and I drove across the bridge to Coronado Island; it sure has a great view.
The night before thanksgiving I visited with raylyn and Phil and others for her friend’s bday. We went to the shout house (a piano bar) .after we left; Johannes’ brother picked me up so I could stay the night with them and have thanksgiving with their friends. It was a cool thanksgiving, we deep-fried the turkey and ate a bunch of pie, after our food comas were gone, we played pool. I lost 5 bucks in a game of pool against Johannes’ sister, but its ok, because I am going to rematch her and win.
